With over 20 years of experience in retail across New Zealand and Australia, Mel has managed fast-paced, large-format fashion businesses throughout the North Island and played a key role in a startup business in a state management role in Australia. Her background also includes senior account management in recruitment across both countries. Currently, Mel runs her own baby eCommerce store, stocking international brands for the New Zealand market.

Mel holds a degree in fashion design and technology, bringing a creative edge to her business endeavors. She also has extensive experience with a boutique agency, specialising in branding, marketing campaigns, social media and digital strategy, content creation, influencer management, partnerships, and more.

Mel possesses in-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform and a strong passion for social media, from growing accounts organically to developing brand strategies and storytelling. She is dedicated to supporting small businesses and is passionate about contributing to their growth and success.

Outside of work, Mel is a mum to two adventurous girls. Mel and her family live in the sunny Bay of Islands, where they love exploring and going on adventures in their caravan.
