Why would I need 'digital' marketing?

The internet is the place any business in today’s age must have a presence in order to grow and be discovered by new clients. It’s simple - think about how you find a service or product you need - before you leave the house? On your phone? On Facebook? Through endorsements from peers on LinkedIn?

Digital marketing is anything that has your presence or messaging online. Your website, organic and paid search results, social media, content that’s online, emails, web advertising … the list goes on. I sum it up as anything you can access and click on your mobile or computer.

The true value in having a good digital presence is that you can be discovered when your prospective clients need your service or product not when you have the time or resource to tell them.

Digital marketing is also a highly cost effective method in reaching your audience at scale and enables you to use their behaviours to reach them at any given time of the day or week. It also enables you to provide personalised information based on their needs, location and demographic - and have a place for them to come to to find out more.

No longer should people leave a voice message, send a form in via post or try to remember a number or web address from a costly billboard on the side of a road. It’s beyond the digital age now and it’s exciting and faster than ever to reach your audience and grow your business.
