Meet Gina
Why did you pursue a career in Marketing?
My focus is design as well as marketing - I previously worked purely in marketing and I think this has given me a solid grounding for my design work, as I can consider the broader picture in terms of what needs to be achieved by a project. Personally, I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people, and my role as a designer brings be into contact with teams on a daily basis who are trying to solve problems in creative ways. Helping people achieve beyond their expectations and delivering them quality results totally floats my boat
What makes Virtual work the right fit for you?
I tend to favour an overflowing plate – life is for living after all, so Virtual works for me as it allows me to manage my workload alongside other commitments such as family, fitness, music, designing and making furniture, playing music in a band, learning to paint… Did I mention I like an overflowing plate?
Most rewarding career moment so far?
Every time I make a client happy, I do a happy dance. I’ve been doing lots of happy dances since hitching up with Virtual Marketing.
What are you going to tick off the bucket list in the next 5 years?
I want to fill my house with art that doesn't necessarily look like I painted it all myself in the garage. I’m going to collaboratively create and record a second album with my amazing bandmates. Me and my lovely partner will successfully launch our two kids into their college years. And I will, at some point, have a glass of wine in the shaded sunshine on our deck. That’ll all do me for now.
