What are the benefits of using a 'virtual' resource?

It can just simply make sense to hire a specialist to come into your business in a short term or casual basis to help keep you on track without committing to hiring them as a permanent employee and incurring the costs and time required for that.

It enables you to have a more intermediate to junior team working within the business with that adviser externally to come and have a holistic view of the business, results and bring along with them their experience in the market.

Often really good and experienced specialists in their field don’t fancy the idea of working in one permanent role in the traditional nine-to-five sense, focused on one company alone. They’re what I call the ‘unicorns’ as they’re super hard to find, but awesome once you find them.

I fancy myself as a ‘marketing unicorn’, not just because I have a predisposition to bright and colourful things, but also because I work best when I can focus on a project and give it my all for a given period of time, learning new things along the way and having the freedom to work when it works best for me and my clients.
